What will Lucas Oil Stabilizer do for my vehicle?

Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer eliminates dry starts and wear in your engine. It extends oil life and lowers the oil temperature in any engine, gas or diesel. How does Lucas Oil Stabilizer work?

Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer seals the cylinders in your engine to keep oil from going up to be burned. It also keeps the contaminants of the combustion chamber from coming down to prematurely ruin the oil. By controlling blow-by and dry starts, the life of an already worn engine can be extended significantly.
The additives in Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer cause it to resist viscosity breakdown (thinning), retain its lubricity, and shear stability. The combination of these characteristics is what protects your vehicle in normal and severe conditions.

How much Lucas Oil Stabilizer do I need?

Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer can be used as follows:

• Engines: approximately 20% of the oil mixture, usually one quart per oil change
• Badly worn engines: use up to 60 or 80% if necessary.
• Manual transmissions: 25 - 50%
• Differentials: 50-100%
• Transfer Cases: 50-100%
• Wet clutches 10%

Important Note: A quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer is used in place of a quart of oil. Do not overfill your vehicle by adding an extra quart of stabilizer. The best time to add Lucas oil stabilizer is when you change your oil. If you have a worn engine that burns or leaks oil and is down a quart of oil on the dipstick, then you may add a quart of stabilizer.

An application of PolyDyn TX7 Engine Treatment can add years to the life of your engine, increase its efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs. By burnishing TFE particles into the irregularities of the metal surfaces – where you once had metal to metal, you now have TFE to TFE. PolyDyn TX7 Engine Treatment can be used in any engine new or old – even diesel engines. In a new engine it can be added as soon as the recommended break in period has been achieved, usually 4,000 to 7,000 miles. In an older engine, simply add during any routine oil change. It dramatically restores power in older, higher mileage engines. It also has been known to reduce oil consumption in older engines. By working into ring lands and allowing the rings to move freely again a better seal is achieved, TX7 increases compression, reduces oil consumption and engine smoking. Each TX7 treatment is good for approximately 20,000 miles. Since TFE is chemically inert, most solvents and detergents will not effect the treatment.

Only excessive and constant rubbing will cause some TFE erosion to occur. By treating at intervals of 12,000 miles or once annually, the maximum benefits can be maintained indefinitely. And unlike other engine treatments, TX7 particles are ground to a fraction of a micron. This allows them to pass through any filtration system.

Some other engine treatments get trapped in oil filters never making it to the engine. With the PolyDyn TX7 unique suspension process, the TFE particles stay in suspension and will not build up on themselves in critical areas – so it will not clog oil lines, oil ports, or oil filters. Engine Flush
An engine flush can be one of the most important things you can do for the heart of your vehicle. Your engine generates the most amount of heat, works the hardest and need good health. Inside your motor there are many channels and pin hole sized passages that allow for the operating motor to drive oil up, through and around to achieve adequate lubrication. As your engine operates kilometer after kilometer, month after month, year after year these channels and arteries can become clogged with dirt, sludge, metal filings and other contaminates.

Here at Pennzoil we use a specialty formula to break down the sludge and free the hardened build up. We do this by adding the formula to your engine directly prior to an oil change. The agent will run in your motor for 10-12 minutes depending on conditions and will act much like a soap wash or bath to the internal parts of your engine freeing and dislodging contaminates. Once the time is up we will drian the formula leaving a clean motor for the clean oil to be added.

It is recommended that you do this once in the spring and once in the fall. At a minimum...this should be done once a year.
